- Answer these two questions:

- Put the Everyday Life and the First Amendment activity (download and print below) onto page 101. Complete it.

- Be patriotic
- Title page 104 "Citizens Should..." and write down the list we created in class. If absent, you ca use the one above.
- Go back to page 103.
- As a class, add responsibilities that go along with each right.
- Think of this: If your parents get you a puppy, there are some responsibilities that go along with it: feeding it, taking it on walks, cleaning up after it.
- Likewise, if your Bill of Rights gives you some rights, there are responsibilities that go along with each one. You have the right to freedom of religion, so you have the responsibility to treat people with respect even if they follow a different religion. You have the right to a fair trial, so you have the responsibility to do jury duty so that other people can have their fair trial. Finish the rest of the chart on your own.
