About Mrs. Young
I joined the Hemmeter family in 2015, and am still overjoyed to be here. I am very passionate about teaching and am dedicated to ensuring the success of every one of my students. I have worked with students of all ages and enjoyed them all, but I have a soft spot for upper elementary in particular.
I graduated from Oakland University in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education, including a major in Language Arts and a minor in Mathematics.
I believe in fostering a culture of supportive, enthusiastic learners and guiding them on their learning journey, wherever it may take them. I will do everything I can to help Room 115 excel and have an outstanding year. Go Hornets!
